Sam McCool is 1 of Australia’s most experienced and exported comedians having spent the last 2 decades, making people laugh from Bollywood to Hollywood and far beyond to NYC, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, NZ, Bali, Singapore, HK, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Switzerland, France and the UK.
Sam has performed for some of the largest organisations on the planet, including Amazon, Accor, Bayer, Dell Technologies, Deloitte, Fracht, IBM, ING, Microsoft, Nokia, Optus, Qantas, Samsung, TEDx, UNSW, and many more.
His experiences with people all over the planet, has helped him realise that the world would be a better place if we all just learned to laugh at each other and with each other. It’s healthy, cathartic, and helps you forget your problems or at least realise they’re not as unique as you thought.

On Sunday 16th February… join us for a scrumptious Sunday Roast at 1 of Sydney’s coolest venues, while the audience heckles and gets roasted by international comedian and expert roaster Sam McCool and friend
For those that have experienced Sam’s comedy stylings, you know that Sam is at his best, when he’s “off-the-cuff”, and “off-the-leash”, this time he’ll be doing both.
So this isn’t a show for sensitive wall-flowers. Oh no, leave them at home. It’s a unique semi-scripted show for people who have a robust self-esteem and a sense of humour keen enough to allow us all to laugh at each other and with each other.
The CONCEPT is Simple:
If you want to be roasted, or have your friends roasted, the first step is book tickets.
Afterwards, you’ll be given a secret email address to send us some bullet points or notes about the friends you’re attending with, or yourself. They can be funny, random or unbelievable points, stories or any other source content we can use for material to roast you/your friends.
We will also have a live roasting session, where you can call out, heckle, or sms on the night, but obviously prior notice yields better results.
This is the launch of a unique and original comedy spectacular that we hope will sweep the nation… or at least the infamous Bloody Mary’s Gazebo bar in Potts Point (the posh side of Kings Cross).
Bloody Mary’s also serves up delicious beverages including cocktails like Espresso Martini’s and Sunday Spritz’s.
So come a little early for a non-obligatory pre-drink (from 5pm), indulge in a sumptuous Sunday Roast Dinner (or A La Carte if you don’t like roast dinners), then stay for a multi-comedian interactive comedy show (starting at 7pm)
* of course, if you’re a non-meat eater… Gazebo can also serve up a vegetarian Sunday Roast option or you can choose from the regular a la carte menu.

Currently yes. This is the first show. If it is well-received and attended, we will look to add more at this venue or others around town. Book for this one, and stay tuned for others.
